The experience was from fair to poor; they limit the number of towels to only 3 per room, even if the number of guests is higher, they do not clean your room—we were there for 3 days and they did not clean it—the minibar did not cool, I asked for an extra blanket and they only brought me a sheet; the staff is friendly and the breakfast is fine, but that does not count for much if they do not resolve your issues. I do not recommend it and, of course, I will not return.

My husband and I stayed at La Copa Beach Inn for three nights in mid-July. The location is convenient as it is very close to the entrance to the island and faces the gulf. Parking is adequate but you may need to circle the long, narrow lot a second time to find the closest spot. Our room was fine with two double beds and a comfortable couch. Shower worked well. We were there when lots of families were visiting so the free breakfast on the 4th floor was very crowded. We only tried that once. Access to the beach is via a wooden walkway and this is the hotel's main selling point to us. We enjoyed early morning beachtime to avoid the worst of the heat. The bar is a walk-up window at the pool; there is no actual bar seating space as in other hotels. There is a snack bar attached to the bar window with some seating but the smell of fried food was a bit much. The hotel worked for us on this visit but we probably would not book here again.

Location is excellent, beach to our selves even at full capacity at the hotel. Pool was crowded but with a fun family vibe, small pool but with additional kiddie pool available. The staff is great, staff everywhere so easy to find help. The hotel is dated but so clean and well maintained, it always smelled great. Free breakfast. Easy access to the beach. Generous with towels. Walkable restaurants. Cozy beds. Microwave and mini fridge. The gift shop has plenty of fun treats and coffee. Hotel is small and more of a 2-3 star but like I said cleanliness made up for it.
