Comfort Inn

Coming into Blanding late in the evening as we didn't have time to make it to Moab, we decided to stay at the Rodeway Inn coming into town. Pulling in, you tell yourself you get what you pay for. Place is in need of some maintenance and TLC. We got the only room left available as a tour bus was coming in late that booked most of the rooms. Rooms was gross with dog food on the floor and dog hair on the couch although when I complained and said we didn't want a pet room, we were told it wasn't a pet room and just received an apology, the continental breakfast offered in the morning is a joke. There was cereal spilled all over the floor which made walking a bit slippery, no one around at the front desk to let them know. Anyway, don't get excited about staying here, just expect the bare minimum.

Not a really bad hotel, but it did have a few issues. The staff was not friendly at all and when I was trying to get my things back in my car in the morning, the key card stopped working. Had to drag stuff out of the room an ask for help to get some of it next to the outside door. It wasn't even check out time yet! Also, the room was clean but ugly stains on the carpet, and the pillows were tiny, like what you'd give a kid. Stayed at another motel in Blanding that was old but a way better stay- it's called The Prospector.

Huge room, great sleep, quiet well maintained hotel on the outskirts of town. Room had a separate sitting area, king size bed, spacious bathroom, small fridge and microwave. Lots of room to park, a short drive to main street for food and drink.
