Baymont Inn and Suites Cedar Rapids

Great value. Large, well maintained rooms. Firm mattress (but pillows are too soft, at least for my liking). Complementary breakfast had the standard fare, but it stayed stocked and maintained. Free parking, and easy access to I-380. Swimming pool and a fitness center. Lindale Mall and retail area are just down the road. Staff was extremely attentive, pleasant, and plenty working at any given time. One thing lacking - at least for our 2 queen bed room - was an in-room safe.

At 240/night look elsewhere! Stayed for our travel baseball tournament. After a day of travel and ball games was looking forward to a restful night before another day of games and travel. All the bed pillows were FLAT no support. The real discomfort was the LOUD a/c that kicked on in room 110 every 10 minutes, the room was a sauna. I went to the desk at 230 am and invited staff to the room to observe. Management, Marriott, and the property owner dismissed my complaint and request for a refund, they refunded 70. I have video of the noise, no one was interested. Plenty of other options in the area for that price! Needless to stay our stay was not restful.

Room 213 is quiet, and has a little couch area in it. The best part is the view of this sweet goose who seems to be there (exactly so) at least a few times a day.
