San Juan Inn & Trading Post

Very characteristic property. Enchanting location. Room cleanliness needs to be reviewed. Food at the restaurant is expensive (a full 40 dollars!) for an inedible steak as tough as the sole of a shoe!!! Burnt fried onions!!! Change the cook!!! It's a shame because the whole thing could be better utilized.

Great view and good location with some restaurants nearby and gas stations, otherwise the room is terrible; when you enter it even seems nice, but then you immediately see a classic dust-collecting cotton blanket that was promptly removed, but the worst thing is that the sheet, the mattress cover, and the pillowcase underneath it were stained with unidentified liquids; obviously we tried to get them changed, but there is no one to ask or call after 9, we had to sleep fully dressed and with towels brought from home because the disgust was too much; furthermore, you can clearly see how old the various sheets and pillowcases are, which are worn and frayed to the point that you can see through them.

The Inn is a historic hotel overlooking the San Juan River, and the room was nicely updated. Its age did show in a few spots, but with the temp. outside well over 100, room was clean, cool, and fresh. Also, the restaurant was good, and we enjoyed the fresh fry bread.
