Silverado Lodge by Canyons Resort

The hotels posted check-in time is 4pm. I arrived to check-in and they said no. So they didn’t honor their posted time. I then had to find somewhere to go until I was contacted. I had to wait another hour which messed up my other scheduled activities. I then asked to speak with a manager to do something about the misleading info and do something for compensation. They then said they don’t have those.…you don’t have managers? Also once I finally get to the room the towels have stains on them, the shower door doesn’t open.

When checking in there is no staff. Just a sign sending you to a second hotel (Sundial Lodge) who also has no staff. Just a sign sending you to the Grand Summit where you can actually check in. Once back to the original hotel our room was in a separate building with extremely poor signage to get to. Once there we went to the ice machine on our floor. It was broken. We passed one on the first floor on our way to. Building 2. It was also broken. Called the front desk. Auto transferred to Grand Summit Hotel who just said sorry it’s a sister hotel we know nothing about. Would never stay here again. Room is marginal at best. And service is nonexistent and poor from sister hotel

I honestly had a great time at first I was skeptical about the reviews but after I couldn’t understand why people did not like it here the only downside was that the ice machine didn’t work but over all had an amazing stay
