MICROTEL INN & SUITES BY WYNDH

Very delayed in posting this review, but important that I do. Sarah Weske, the General Manager at Microtel by Wyndham in Salt Lake City, was phenomenal. I accidentally booked my reservation for the day after my actual arrival, and when I checked in, the hotel was unfortunately sold out due to a large conference in town. Sarah went above and beyond trying to help me. She checked every possible option, even personally inspecting a room that had been taken out of service for repairs to see if it might still be usable. When that was not possible, she searched for other accommodations for me, including hotels outside the Wyndham brand. Although we could not find another available room nearby, Sarah made sure the prepaid reservation I had booked in error was reimbursed while I was still there. I eventually found a place to stay farther from the airport, but I will not forget her persistence, kindness, and genuine effort to help me during a stressful situation. Exceptional customer service. Sarah is truly an asset to Wyndham!

Came here because it was inexpensive and we flew out the next morning, they had airport parking and shuttle service. Unfortunately the shuttle doesn’t start till 5:20 if you have an early flight this won’t work. For the parking it’s $8 a night but they won’t let you prepay when you check in, you have to pay the morning that you fly out. The rooms are small but the pillows are smaller, the pillows on the bed are maybe 16”x16” and there is only 3 per bed with an uncomfortable and hard bed .

Excellent overall ! The service , very clean rooms, the food was great. I highly recommend this hotel .Jennifer at the front desk provided exceptionally excellent service.
