Sundial Lodge At The Canyons

Place is nice and staff is very good but beds are super uncomfortable and a/c was terrible. Room never cooled down and it was that way for our entire group so was not just my room.

1st time at property. Definitely high end property. The guys at valet Harrison, Greg, and Tom were excellent. Molly at front desk was superb also.

Park City announced that they were going to CLOSE the ski resort the day after we arrived. We asked to change the dates and the hotel refused. We asked if there was any cancellation or refund and we were told no. When we arrived two of our 3 beds were not made. We were given bedding and told by the staff to make it ourselves (I'm not making this up!). The concierge booked us at a restaurant that was closed , but when we went back to have her help us fix it we were told "she has gone for the season and won't be coming back and we have no replacement". Again- totally serious- cannot make this stuff up. During check in we were told that the cleaning staff would only be cleaning every other day. When they did come they only changed the sheets and towels and didn't clean a single other thing, no bathroom, no kitchen cleaning etc... The location would be good (if the ski resort had been open) and the rooms would have been nice (if they had been prepared and cleaned). There are lots of other hotel choices that are not affiliated with EPIC / Vail / Rock Resorts. I think if we go back we would look at other options.
