The experience could have been good, but I was assigned a dark room—and to make matters worse, the headboard was right against the wall where the building's air conditioning motors were mounted. I politely went to the front desk to ask for a room change, even to an equivalent or lower category. My request was refused, accompanied by several baffling arguments. First, they tried to tell me that this was the only room in its category (surprising, right?); then, that to change categories I would have to make a new reservation myself because I hadn't booked directly with them and they couldn't modify room assignments (wow!); and finally, that only the manager—who wasn't there (what a shame)—could have authorized such a change, otherwise the young woman would get fired. In short: a pitiful welcome and disastrous customer service. I strongly advise you to avoid this establishment, as they do not listen to their guests.

We stayed here in May and had an incredible experience. To start, the staff were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and accommodating. They constantly reached out to see if we needed anything and they were so helpful. Our room was lovely. We enjoyed time at the pool with a stunning view of Zion. You cannot beat the location to the park. We were able to be the first group into the narrows because we woke up early and took our e-bikes into the park. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Zion.

Great location at the entrance to Zion National Park. You can walk to the shuttles that take you to the various trails. The rooms are a good size, and breathtaking views are right outside your door. The lodge has a small store and brewpub on the premises, as well as an outfitter store.. A (free) shuttle takes you into Springdale proper if you want to visit restaurants and shops in town. If you want to experience the beauty of Zion National Park, this is the place to stay.
