Capitol Reef Inn & Cafe

We booked the room for a quick overnight stay. Our room was clean with interesting decor based on the area and its history. I love vintage motels for their unique properties and CR Inn did not disappoint. From the wide plank pine floors to the petite toilet this charming room evokes a bygone era. It is laid back, quiet, and clean. If you want a taste of 1950s travel I recommend. Take it for its face value charm. A family-owned taste of yesteryear in a sea of cookie-cutter stays. And the raspberry pie is really very good. I recommend both.

Great friendly service, delicious food, and very reasonable prices. We highly recommend the restaurant! Unfortunately the Inn was booked so we were unable to stay there. The gift shop had something for everyone.

The food was delicious but we will never go back. I had to go to the kitchen TWICE; once to get water 10 minutes after we ran out and a second time when I wanted a little more dressing. The waiter never check on us and had the personality of a cold fish. Also, every time some one comes in a loud series of 8 doorbells goes off.
