Go for it! Great place. Good Mexican cuisine next door.

Arrived at 1:30 to check in, not a single car in the entire parking lot. Hmmm that was the first sign. Went into lobby to check in, not a single person in the lobby or at the front desk. Unable to use ladies restroom it was locked, had to use men’s restroom. Waited in lobby at front deak, asking if anyone was there. No answer… not a good safe feeling. Left hotel, called to cancel reservation and was told I still had to pay for the night because I should have seen the note in the front desk…. The fri t office was out to lunch. Really this is the customer service response I received.

The front desk person was extremely personable and friendly - made for a very nice check in. A little concerning that apparently there is no one at the desk overnight (or at least starting at 9 p.m. for a while), but fortunately we had no problems so we didn't test it! The place is more of a motel than a hotel. It was clean and comfortable. A little dated, but perfectly acceptable accommodations. Somewhat overpriced in my opinion for not having any amenities such as breakfast or a pool and for being motel-style. But I guess that's what happens that close to a national park!
