This hotel is a masterclass in false advertising and complete disregard for guest comfort. One of their main advertised amenities is a fireplace. In reality, the fireplaces do not work at all because the fire marshal does not allow this hotel to operate them. The staff knows this. Management knows this. Yet they continue to advertise fireplaces and pretend they are functional while they “investigate,” which is a flat-out lie. To make matters worse, the hotel didn’t even bother to properly winterize the non-functioning fireplace. There was a thin, removable piece of wood covering it that did absolutely nothing to block freezing air from pouring into the room. As a result, the room was absolutely freezing at all times. Even after purchasing three space heaters out of my own pocket, the room was barely survivable. This wasn’t an inconvenience — it was miserable. Sleeping was uncomfortable, relaxing was impossible, and the entire stay felt like being trapped in a freezer that I paid premium resort pricing for. The dishonesty is what really makes this unacceptable. The staff knowingly misleads guests about the fireplaces, continuing to sell a feature they are not legally allowed to use. That is deceptive and disrespectful to customers. Any roadside motel would have been a better stay than this frozen excuse for a hotel. On a personal note, this reflects terribly on Killington. It’s shocking that such a poorly run, misleading operation is allowed to represent lodging at an otherwise wonderful ski resort. Avoid this place unless you enjoy paying top dollar to be cold, lied to, and ignored.

First of all, I am placing a review on here because VRBO or the owner decided to remove the review I placed. I use Trip advisor for honest feedback from travelers and I appreciate that. We stayed July 24-28 2025. We were told there was a new roof being placed on our building but we had no idea what we were coming up to. the scaffolding surrounded the entire building. we had to walk through scaffolding to get into the lobby. the hallways were with wires, pipes exposed and plastic lined the floor. some of the pipes were weeping due to condensation. The condo/room itself was decorated nicely and had all of our needs met fairly well. The outdoor area consisted of some dirty cracked plastic chairs overlooking a gravel hill. The description said we overlooked a garden area. the owner was responsive to my questions. the description of the condo omitted the fact there was no AC. When asked about that, the owner stated "I am sorry you missed that my listing of amenities did not include AC". Omission of such a detail during a stay in July does not excuse disclosing information such as that. I posted a review on VRBO but somehow the review has disappeared. the only reviews on there, refer to it being "Excellent" or "Exceptional".

We had a pretty good experience here. We booked a 1 bedroom condo , and it was as described. It is an older property and many of the common amenities were not available. But that was already stated in the description. Our condo was clean and had all the stuff one can expect. The appliances were old but functioning. We had a balcony with a nice view. Our aim was not for a luxury resort but a decent place to stay while visiting the area for fall foliage,and it was fine for that. I gave a 4 because I felt that the place could be updated a bit. The carpet and bath fixtures showed their age,although everything was clean.
