This Beautiful Resort located in the phenomenal Green Mountains of Vermont is "Spectacular" & a must see of Yellows, Oranges, Reds in the fall! We loved the cool Crisp clean mountain air as we enjoyed numerous hikes amongst the beautiful trees of Jeffersonville/Stowe. There is so much to see & do such as visiting the picturesque downtown village of Stowe, the breathtaking Gondola ride up the highest mountain in Vermont, Mount Mansfield. Covered Historic Bridges of Vermont are a thing out there & take you back into time as you see & drive through them. A dazzling Sterling Pond hike high will open your eyes to the timeless beauty of nature nestled high in the mountains of Vermont just before a visit to the remarkable Cold Hollow Cider Mill where you can see how fresh cider is made the old fashion way & enjoy their freshly made hot cider donuts in a family friendly setting! Views galore of magnificent trees & green pastures are abundant alongside the country roads as well as a "Must Visit" to the 2,500 acre Historic Von Trappe Lodge & Brewery; it is absolutely "AMAZING" in summary! And if you're into skiing need I say more... Vermont is widely considered the premier skiing destination in the eastern United States, hands down! Needless to say when you visit this lovely destination we highly recommend Smugglers Notch as your vacation destination for awe inspiring experience!
