Comfort Inn at Shady Grove

We had a great experience at this hotel. It checked all the important points. Comfortable, clean, great breakfast. Fresh nuts and fruits hard boiled eggs etc. If you want to eat healthy there are several healthy choices. A assortment of glazed donuts with chocolate and sprinkles also available if a treat is what you are looking for. Plus all the usual items . The best spread of any hotel I have stayed in on the road. Outside there is a park like lawn that is well maintained. Totally dog friendly and clean. We will be back!

Cleanness. Friendliness, location, room rate and amenities. I love love this hotel. It’s my go to hotel to visit family living near by the hotel location and to visit what dc has to offer. I’m please with front desk staff like Lilly, housekeeping and breakfast ladies so friendly and kind. I felt safe and easy access to everything I needed and wanted. My stay was amazing. Honestly, for the price of a standard room, I was pleasantly surprised by everything that was included. The hotel offered free parking, complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and a clean, spacious room. Those little extras really added value to the stay. The staff were wonderful, especially Lilly, who was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Her kindness made the experience even better. I've stayed at luxury hotels that charge a premium for every little thing, and this stay was honestly more enjoyable and relaxing. Instead of paying extra for basic amenities, everything I needed was included. The location was also very convenient. It was easy to take the train into Washington, DC, and reach the heart of the city in about 30 minutes. There were also plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby to enjoy. I'm so glad I found this cozy gem. It was comfortable, affordable, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
