Hotel Helix - A Kimpton Property

Great experience, beautiful rooms, clean and bright, great location. Seena, and Zack were very helpful and attentive, but Jennifer truly went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. The staff makes the hotel what it is, from housekeeping, to the restaurants, to front desk. 10/10 vibes

Excellent location, central and on a quiet street, a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The room was dated, poorly air-conditioned, and poorly ventilated. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very helpful: special mention for Natasha at the front desk.

Staff were very accommodating and responsive. We had a suite which was well done, large enough (600+ sq ft), and quiet. The only issue - the air conditioning in the entire hotel could not keep up with the outside heat - 100 degree days in DC. We were told it was a city wide 'thing' and everyone was affected. However, we went to a number of other hotels and restaurants during our stay and all well cooled. It really turned what would have been a great stay into a 'can we get through it' stay as we tried to keep coolish, especially sleeping at night which at times was unbearable. Overall, I would return....but not in the summer months.
