Kirkley Hotel Lynchburg

The manager helped us so much!! We needed to stay a little longer past check out time in order to get ready for a wedding. For no extra charge, the manager let us stay until the wedding time!! I’m so grateful!! Our room is spotless too!

This hotel was not as advertised. Our first rooms pull out couch didn’t work and at 11:30pm after a long day they moved us to another room (did not assist us) This room had clearly not been used in some time. Spiders in the bathroom. Dust. The paint on the door and walls was torn and chipped. Shower head not removable and poor pressure. Bed was lumpy and quite uncomfortable. Housekeeping never came to our room to clean though advertised as complimentary daily. I asked the attendant when we left our first morning for towels for 3 people as we only had for 2. This was not done. Poor service (except for the late night lady who helped us move rooms). Not worth the money at all. And breakfast was burnt bacon. Stale breads and the eggs were powdered. Just not acceptable.

It was clean, very modern and nice. Will stay here again when I visit my granddaughter. The people were very polite. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It had all the cookware , dishes, cutlery, that you needed. A washer dryer combo in the bathroom. Breakfast area and pool very nice also. Most of all, the bed was comfortable.
