DAYS INN SOUTH BOSTON VA

This was the single most disturbing and disgusting hotel I have ever had the displeasure of landing in. It was so filthy the bottoms of my feet were black. My roommates bed had bedbugs. If there were any other hotels available we would have done so. The photos used in advertising this establishment are completely inaccurate.

DO NOT GO HERE! This was the worst Hotel experience ever and I've stayed a lot of places. If I could post pictures you would be disgusted. The desk attendant was a complete useless tool and the room was disgusting. Dead bugs and mold everywhere. Dirty poop filled diaper's, pet food cans, and garbage on the sidewalks, Disgusting green pool with Garbage all around it. AC units spewing bacteria and mold. No housekeeping whatsoever. Dead bugs of all types in every corner of the room and on the furniture. Stains on the refrigerator door like Ron Jeremy finished his Scene there that day. Unfortunately it was a big race weekend so there as nothing else for miles, we tried. We even though about staying in the car instead. Couldn't shower for days as the shower was full of mold and water barely trickled out of the shower or the sink. Would have been like taking a shower with a manually pumped squirt gun and not one of those fancy ones. We left the hotel and went to the local convenient stores to use the bathroom it was so bad we didn't dare touch the toilette. If I could give this place a minus 5 it wouldn't be low enough.

Arrived very late and it still took 15 minutes to check in, due to printer issues. Room 117 was convenient, but very cold. Heat supplied by the wall mounted unit. Set it on 84, but took several hours for room to heat. The heat lamp in the bathroom was broken, so that room remained cold. Took a while to get hot water. Room had no glasses or coffee cups. TV worked fine. Could have used a couple of blankets. Sheets were yellowed. Breakfast was a step down from last year. Buffet cost $12 and was quite limited. Last year we had sausage gravy and other hot food included. We do not plan to return.
