ROYAL INN WILLIAMSBURG

Warning: this hotel is a SCAM!!! They advertise a swimming pool that they do not have. The reception staff told us that the pool has been closed for four years, yet the hotel still advertises it. We chose this hotel specifically because of the pool, as the temperature is around 40°C (104°F). We contacted Booking.com and explained that this is intentional misleading advertising. If the pool has been closed for four years, both the hotel and Booking.com should be aware that it is a major factor in many guests' booking decisions. Booking t old us they could not do anything, which is shocking. As a result, guests continue to be misled. On top of that, the bathroom was so disgusting that we decided not to shower at all. The breakfast coffee machine was also broken, and judging from other reviews, it appears to have been out of order for years. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel

We stayed here for two nights. Staff was friendly - room was pretty clean. Fitted sheets had red stains on them - not sure what they were - but we sprayed them down. Probably should have requested another room.

One night stay. Room seemed fine. Bed was decent. Bathroom was missing wall tile and the door didn't close all the way. I could get over that but in the morning one of the bed sheets came off and exposed stains all over the bed. That kinda ruined it for me.
