I made such a great choice. There were several B&B's in the area I was considering, but this one just 'called' to me. I was able to 'snag' the Captain John Smith Suite which has a covered balcony bumped up against a wooded area. It was a quiet paradise sitting there with my morning coffee, even in the rain. The fireplace in the sitting room was an added bonus for ambience. The room was clean and the bed linens were so nice and luxurious, and the bed was so comfortable. It was an easy walk for me to get to Market Street and the historic area of Williamsburg. Laura is an amazing chef & hostess. The food she prepared every morning was delicious and different every day. I only have one complaint; Laura would not let me "steal" the "RCA dog." It was an awesome experience. Thank you Laura.

From check-in to check-out, our stay was truly wonderful. We’re so grateful for the host’s kindness, flexibility, and genuine helpfulness. It made all the difference. Everything was thoughtfully arranged with clear, easy instructions, and every detail was handled to make our stay as smooth and comfortable as possible. Drinks and snacks were lifesavers, and breakfast was absolutely delicious! We would love to come back.

Highly recommend!! My boyfriend and I stayed at The Sampler from Friday to Sunday as an alternative to our original booking at the sister B&B, Inn at 605, after having a pipe issue at the location. Laura was wonderful moving our booking and communicating with me about it. This location is so full of local history to explore on every shelf and in every corner of their home. Our room was perfectly cozy and the breakfast both mornings kept us stuffed until dinner time. Trish who made breakfast for both days was so personable and answered all the questions we had. I highly recommend this location and will be back for another weekend getaway!!
