The room we checked into had a very uncomfortable bed. we could feel the spring coils from the bed. We asked for a different room. The bed here wasn't much better. The vinyl chair was broken and uncomfortable. When we turned the fan on in the room, there was an unpleasant smell. The room was campy, dingy and quite small. The shower stall was unpleasant and small. My wife is 5'2" and had to duck her head to get under the shower head while taking a shower. Only a double bed. No front window in this room. Only one night was all we could deal with. This wasn't the motel we imagined when we read so many good reviews... What a waste of our time and money!

One of my better motel experiences. Our room at All View was spacious, bright and clean. There was no AC so we kept the window opened; but then we could hear neighbors as they walked by. A bit odd but not a deal breaker at all. Convenient location to/from Olympic National Park.

After checking out of The Quinault Lodge early because of a bad experience, we were lucky to find any rooms available from Aberdeen to Port Townsend. We took a chance on the All View Motel because of its reviews and, frankly, because we didn't have another choice. It is an old-style "auto court" motel which were popular in the 30s and 40s. Don't let the plain, non-descript outside appearance fool you--it is very clean and comfortable. We were in Room 14, which also has a kitchenette. The room had 2 queen beds, a small bathroom, TV, and free wi-fi. It was very clean--carpets appear to be fairly new. Deadbolts on the door (they still use actual keys!). No A/C, but a fan is provided. Some of the original architecture inside the room is charming (the shower had green and black tile which you might find in the 40s, with a coved entrance--good sized for a tall or larger person). Only a few minutes from the Port Angeles waterfront, and a grocery store about a block away. Give it a whirl!
