Hotel was nice, but their ad is very deceiving. We chose this hotel because they offered 24-hour shuttle service. When we arrived, we were told the shuttle service was had limited hours. We ended up paying an extra $70 for an Uber.

Looks nice on outside. Inside reeks of skunk weed. Dirty carpet. Couch looked attacked by cat. Bed like sleeping on box. Not in good condition.

Every person I had contact with at this hotel did a dis-service to the good name of Sonesta. 1.When I tried to get a ride from the airport with their shuttle the guy said he would let the driver know and hung up. When I called back 40 mins later to find out what happened, he then admitted the wait would be more than 90 minutes. That is not customer service. 2. On check in the clerk managed to compromise my first card not once, not twice but tried to debit it three times and my bank froze it. I then had to pay with a different CC. So I was charged three times for the same stay. 3. The next clerk told me she had no idea where a restaurant was when I asked her for an idea which direction to head on a map. It turned out it was in the building next door! She also told me she had no idea where the local bus stop was, but that I could take their shuttle to the local shopping centre and it “might” pick me up again in “around” three hours time. When I asked how far that was she said about three miles. It turned out it was about a twenty minute walk and surprisingly I passed the bus stop on the way there. 4. I had to go through the Sonesta Customer Service website TWICE to even get someone from the hotel to contact me about removing the double charges from my CC. Even then they tried to blame my bank for the problem, which I knew was the fault of their check-clerk. 5. A week later they finally admitted it was their mistake and they had removed the $600 plus charges but it might take another week to clear, meaning in total they held my money for a MONTH after I stayed in their hotel for one night! Other than that, the room was quite good and the pool was really quite nice.
