Wow, we stay at Kimpton through the US and was somewhat surprised at the lack of Kimpton standards. Where do I start. Coffee in the am is rather underwhelming. No decaf or skim or oat milk. Very small lobby area that can be redesigned to better use the space. Pretty uncomfortable furniture: the rooms seem from the 80s which need updating. The wine at 5:00 pm was ok, but the food was mediocre. The lobby is loud and not very nice to hang out. Just disappointed.

Terrible experience at this so-called "luxury" hotel! Our family was given a room with one king bed and a pull-out sofa, which was not going to work for us. The mattress in the pull-out was AWFUL. We had requested a room with two queen beds in our reservation. After waiting an hour, they finally switched us to a room that had two DOUBLE beds, not queens (this was very obvious). I ended up in a ridiculous argument with one of the desk clerks, who insisted that the beds were in fact queen size. I told her she was wrong, but she was very rude and dismissive. To their credit, the manager (after another lengthy wait) finally stepped up and moved us to an appropriate room. This ordeal was aggravating and robbed us of some valuable time in Seattle. When we checked in, one of the two elevators was out of service. On the morning we checked out, BOTH elevators were down! I had to walk up and down 8 flights of stairs multiple times. Completely unacceptable to have no working elevator in a hotel that has 11 floors. Choose another hotel!!!
