Main office in retro decor. Front desk girl was friendly helpful. You need to check in by 7:30 pm or else no one is on staff after that. Room all the way @ the end of the 1st floor. I think the door to the kitchen for the restaurant, Blondies (great diner!), was right outside of my room. Curtains look like it was oddly cut just enough to cover one of the smaller windows and the rest of it, your regular window length. Only 2 light bulbs in the bathroom were working. The other 2 was just empty sockets. One toilet paper but would have appreciated extra stocked. Had to ask for more towels. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. 2 bunk beds, sleeps 4 and one big bed in main part of room. Cool record player and old records. Room served it's purpose for our stay.

we had late check in to my room! i was exhausted and all i wanted was a clean bed and shower! to my amazement my room had NO TOWELS EXCEPT A BATH MAT! and front office closed for the night my daughter brought me a hand towel and wash cloth from her room as they had towels but no bath towels as they had already used theirs!! i was so distraught by this!!! i spent $144 for a room with No Towels! 🥲🥲🥲 please refund my money!!

Interesting to read the reviews. This place must have changed hands recently. Our room was recently remodeled. The furniture was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had all new fixtures, the bedside table has plenty of outlets for charging electronics, the towels were large, clean, and in good shape. The room was quiet except for a few early morning customers with noisy cars - can’t blame the hotel for that. The outside looks a little tired but the inside of the rooms makes up for it. Shelton seems to have a good handle on what it takes to keep a small town vibrant and appealing. Quite a bargain for the price - many good unexpected extras.
