Econo Lodge

We are from PA and visit WV every year to visit a cemetery and to sightsee but this is the first time we stayed in Beckley. This was a good choice for our stay. The room was nicely furnished, the bed was comfy, the bath was clean and the towels were fluffy. We had wi fi and a good TV. We had a good night's sleep as the motel was quiet. There was plenty of parking. The man at the front desk recommended the Mexican restaurant across the street and the food was good. There was a free hot breakfast at the motel which allowed us to get an early start to our day. The price was right and we were happy with our stay.

Convenient to the Interstate, and a better-than-average Econolodge. This is a hotel-style property (rooms open to inside corridors). Plenty of parking, good Internet service, helpful staff, clean comfortable room, quiet comfortable night's sleep, microwave and fridge in the room, plenty of cable channels. Breakfast was just OK (eggs and waffles), but given the rate ($52 including tax), I would gladly stay here agian if I was looking for a good value place to stay. Plenty of restaurants close by.

Nasty Manager of operations told me he would put me out when i woke up with bedbug bites.I didnt ask for a refund but I wanted to be moved. Then I go on all their reviews and guess what....bedbugs and nasty manager is the theme. This bum lives in the Rodeway Inn which is part of the Econolodge. Go across the street to the Quality Inn. Very clean better staff. Plus they sell drugs out of those rooms. I was actually scared as i saw some unsavoury characters!! Can you say meth??
