HAMPTON INN - SUITES CHARLES T

The Hampton Inn is lovely, and the staff is super friendly, kind, and accommodating. Really can’t be beat! The hotel is convenient for visiting Shepherdstown, Harpers Ferry, Antietam, and of course, Charles Town. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast was on the higher end of complimentary hotel breakfasts.

I was in town for the C&O Canal 100-mile run and this was the closest Hampton Inn (and I always stay at the Hampton Inn if I can, honestly probably because of the all-day coffee and tea LOL) so I chose to stay there. The hotel is the older style Hampton Inn, which I personally prefer to the brand-new decor. It was clean and well-maintained. The location appeared to be safe for a female traveling alone. There was a grocery store practically next door. The staff were beyond amazing. They were friendly and accommodating, but when things took a turn for the worse after the run, they went above and beyond just being hotel staff. I had a medical issue after the run (dehydration is a terrible thing!), and the front desk (thank you Lupita!) sent someone to check on me, and after I returned from the hospital, they made sure that I was doing okay. I hope to return to this location and actually finish the run in a future year!

Best Hampton inn we've ever stayed at and we stay at plenty as we are Gold members of Hilton. They always give us plenty of water with no problem and the front desk and room service and breakfast staff we Know by first name and they are always so helpful. The location is phenomenal and hotel is clean neat and welcoming what a pleasure I guess that's why we go there about 10 or 12 nights a year. My wife and I love it. JJ at the front desk is awesome and Magdalena from room maintenance is fantastic as well. Delicious breakfast for free in the morning too you can't beat this place.
