Comfort Suites Comfort Dome

Checked in went to my first room. It smell immediately like mildew and was very humid. I looked around there was mold growing in the tub/shower corners as well as the mildew stains on the ceiling. I went to the desk to get a different room. Went into the one as well smelled better but i lolled around and there is mold in the air conditioner/heat system as well as the windows and water damage on the wall by the windows. I went down and showed the photos i took. I asked them if they could send some one to clean it. I was told they cant that a person from maintenance needed to do it. Been here three nights now and still not taken care of. The funny part is they know all the rooms are like this but they do NOTHING ABOUT IT. Im stuck here since my company is paying for the trip. Do they not realize mold causes health problems for most individuals?

Stayed many times here. 1st the hot tub suites r huge. 2 tvs king bed and the hot tub is diffently big enough for 2. The staff is always friendly. The general manager cares about his guest above and beyond his job requirements. They also have a inside water park, bar and a good breakfast. Only a mile from a lot of great restaurants and a really nice mall

My wife and I needed a place to stay after a tornado hit our house. We had preferred another property with REAL suites but they were not available. Pros: Very friendly bar staff. Average friendly front desk staff. Hotel was flexible with an early departure without fee when our house became habitable. Ample parking. Room a/c worked well and there was plenty of hot water. Snack section and vending machines were well stocked. Cons: Breakfast is horrible. Most items were lukewarm and all seemed to come from a microwave. Bagel/egg/cheese combo was soft and moist. Sausage was cold on 3 occasions. My wife gave up on it and bought yogurt at the local store and brought it with her to breakfast. Coffee was good, though. Woman's bathroom (near front desk) doesn't have a main door and at least one stall didn't have a door. Room keys worked about 1/2 the time, less than that on side door. Front desk tried to blame it on "the storm". Bottom Line: You can do a LOT better around Appleton. I spent 16 years as an airiline pilot, staying in hotels 15+ nights a month...I'm a qualified judge. Every time we had a "Comfort Inn and Suites" on the schedule I groaned. It is a low-end chain. Better choices are Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Candlewood Suites. I do appreciate the early checkout without fee...but am very happy to be home!
