The Inns Of Geneva National

The suite was good size. You had to park over 400 yards from entrance to suites. No one around at front desk to check in or help. Did not want to provide housekeeping services. Pricey for what they delivered.

Booked two suites - they are advertised as suites, paid for as suites, on my confirm as a suite, one of them was a suite, but the other was just one large room. And they were the same price! Spoke with the front desk, - who implied they have had this complaint before and suggested I speak with Veronica the Manager, who did reply promptly, but could care less. Lip service is what I got. I was told by her I should have looked at the photos on the website to see it was a big room, not a suite. I didn't book the specific room #. I booked a suite, paid for a suite, it says suite on my confirm and I wasn't given one. AI and probably the legal definition of a suite, and from my global travels - a suite means 2 distinct rooms separated by a wall and/or door. This was not. So beware when booking. The suite room was nice. The shower door leaked water. There is no blind on the window shower, so from the hill someone could see partially in at nite that someone was in the shower. Also sun light shown thru this window and under the bedroom door brightly. We could hear the next door neighbors thru the walls. This place doesn't do daily housekeeping. We did call for towels and they did show up. A/C worked well, water pressure was good, room was nice and spacious. This hotel has no pool. The pool is at their other building which requires waiting for their shuttle or for me to drive over 5 or 6 minutes or so. Breakfast food was good. Grounds and views are great. Geneva National has 2 properties on Lake Como (not Lake Geneva) - the lake is not very nice, shallow, mucky bottom. The other property is more like a normal hotel. This is house type buildings and a main lodge (banquet, bar, golf shop) on their golf course.

Had a GREAT time spending a weekend with friends in the cottages at Geneva National Resort and Club. The accommodations included a spacious living room, dining room and rec room, a complete kitchen and four individual private bedrooms with full baths. It was St. Patrick’s Day weekend and the Turf Smokehouse had an Irish Buffet and an Irish band. The food and service were fantastic and the band was enjoyable. Would consider coming back during the summer to take advantage of the 3 golf courses. I would recommend it to friends.
