Like: the room was clean; the linens were clean. Everything worked okay in second room - see below. (Did not use Wi Fi). The price was very good. The mini-refrig. was larger than most. The exterior doors were secured & opened only with a key card. Parking was adequate. Neutral: the room was a little small for 2 people. Outlets were adequate but not plentiful. There was no breakfast. Not like: The air conditioner would not turn off in the first room we were given, but we were immediately reassigned to the room next door. The mattress was a little lumpy and sagged toward the middle. There was slight mold/mildew in the shower. There was an odor of cleaning products in the room & mildew in the bathroom, although this seemed to go away after airing out the room. (Note: the window opened, but the screen was pulled away from one corner.) Although from the exterior the motel was not particularly inviting & appeared a little uncared for, the room was clean, & the price made it acceptable for one night. Check to make sure everything works to your satisfaction before settling in.

Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious room with a Vintage look. They are doing a great job refurbishing this older hotel and offering very good rates. There is no elevator but they have a lot of rooms on the first floor. We stayed on the third floor at the back. Head to Jody’s Diner for a good home cooked meal served by friendly staff.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. We arrived a bit early, and the desk person went to see if a room was ready and found one for us. All staff and services were very good. Our room was clean and cool (on a VERY hot day.) There was a fridge and microwave and coffee maker, although coffee with flavored creamers are available each morning in the lobby. We had planned to visit Fort Bridger after lunch, but when the front desk told us about the Evanston Greenway on the Bear River, we opted to go for a bike ride, instead. We were glad we did. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel with a cowboy bar theme. We played some pool, chatted with the owners and bartenders, and tried some new drinks. The chef/cook even came to our table as we were eating to make sure everything was good. We were treated like family. I challenge anyone to find a better experience in an older hotel than the experience we had on our one-night stay. It’s not a 5-star kinda place, but what they do to make an older hotel nice is pretty phenomenal. We plan to go back, even though we only live an hour away.
