Great staff, beautiful place!

This was our first visit to Jackson / Jackson Hole. When I researched lodging, this place was highly recommended. I can see why! The location was perfect--close to the town square and convenient to many restaurants and shopping. The staff was EXCELLENT! I kept teasing Jennifer if she simply sleeps there because she was always present, delightful and helpful. Jacob ensured we felt welcomed every time we left or returned to the hotel. I was impressed how the staff quickly knew our routines and names. For example, I like a Diet Coke in the morning. They had it ready and waiting each morning! I loved the little treats like chocolates in our room each night, fresh cookies and coffee/tea at the ready on the middle floor. The common patios were delightful and relaxing. We stayed in a room that had a fireplace. This was a treat, but honestly, we were there in the summer, so we didn't use it. We did note that the upgraded rooms with balconies seemed to have very tiny balconies. I'm not sure that's worth it since the common balconies are so nice. Personal preference. The room included a refrigerator which came in handy. Water was readily available everywhere There were also several snacks that were left in our room and were free. The Wild Sage restaurant was fantastic! I will review that separately, but I will say that even coming from Texas, that burger that we ordered for room service one night was one of the best I've ever had! They cooked it perfectly medium-rare. One tip I would offer is that, like I said, the staff is so wonderful and many don't even accept offered tips. We chose to tip for the whole staff as we checked out to honor their excellent service. We chose to let the management decide how it should be allocated. We heard not many people do this, but I feel like these incredible people deserve the recognition that such a gift gives.

The Rusty Parrot Lodge is easily one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in the United States. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff genuinely anticipate your every need before you even have to ask. A special thank you to Hasan from valet, who gave us the warmest welcome and set the tone for our entire stay. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly kind, welcoming, and eager to help, that has hands down been the friendliest team we’ve ever met! The thoughtful touches throughout our stay made all the difference. The hotel provided snack bags for our hikes, complimentary museum tickets, a daily concierge newsletter with local recommendations, and delightful turndown treats each evening. Housekeeping was excellent, and every detail reflected the care and pride the team puts into creating a memorable guest experience. The location is another highlight. While it’s conveniently close to everything in Jackson, the lodge feels like a peaceful retreat, nestled along a beautiful creek with opportunities for wildlife viewing. The hot tub was a treat after long Teton hikes! We also loved the collection of nature and wildlife books throughout the property, which perfectly complemented the surrounding landscape. Dinner and Breakfasts at Wild Sage was outstanding—without question one of the best meals we had in Jackson. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Rusty Parrot Lodge exceeded every expectation, and we would recommend it 100% to anyone visiting Jackson. We can’t wait to return.
