Hatchet Resort

This was quite a late addition to our Yellowstone trip, we decided to overnight nr Grand Teton NP & wasnt much left to book anywhere at short notice so took a punt on the Hatchet Resort! We booked a standard room with 2 queen beds, from the website pics expectations were quite low. But we were very pleasantly surprised, the resort was lovely and the room was very cute & rustic, plenty big enough for 2, although the bathroom is small. There was no fridge, but there is a tv & wifi, we were more than happy with what we got. You guys do need to update your website photos, it doesn't do you justice! We had a meal at the Whetstone Grill on the same grounds, this was a great meal, plenty of local patrons & nice staff. I would recommend Hatchet to anyone who needs a place to stay close to Grand Tetons.

We were given cabin 3. In my 80 years I have traveled most of the world. The room was the smallest I’ve ever seen. Could only get in bed on one side. That side had maybe 10” to squeeze past to get to bathroom. Took most athleticism than most 80 yrs old adults. I would recommend it for small children. Maybe. Don’t recommend without a guarantee of room size.

Needed a place to stay sold room with tv and internet! she said gave me a discount on the room which ended up being a lie! Got settled in and no remote for tv so was useless! Things were fine until there was an issue then gave here some options as find a remote different room or discount price for starters! Just said other customers were okay with it! I wasn't! She just didn't give crap! wanted to talk with manager or owner of course gone until Friday! Said want hem to get ahold of me when back. Still waiting! finally switched rooms nothing in room was plugged in had to reboot direct tv box and set up not what i wanted to do very rude! if could give them zero stars would!
