DAYS INN THERMOPOLIS

They appear to be trying but it was still " below par" for me ! The room was just " ok" - nothing great. The outdoor hot springs is kind if a weird set up - but i still enjoyed chatting with everyone . I booked FOR THE HOT SPRINGS ! The breakfast was generous and good - the setting was low class and needs upgrading ! Basically it looks like they are " trying" - friendly service (lemonade and cookies given ) - but need someone to come in and give UPGRADING TIPS!

We chose this hotel because it's located inside Hot Springs park We are glad we did.The park is beautiful and the " down town" is within walkable distance. The hotel itself is a little older, no elevator, some peeling paint etc. But the rooms were clean..The beds and pillows comfortable..The staff was great.. We liked that the hot tub at the hotel is fed by the same water that is available at the springs We will stay here during our next visit to Thermopolis

Great staff who were very helpful, and the hot springs soaking tub was really fun. I've never been to Wyoming, so it was all a delightful experience. I liked that I could benefit from the hot springs without having to go anywhere and could then go directly into their lovely pool. My only beef was with the room itself. We had 2 beds and a nightstand, and one small round wobbly table. The TV was mounted on the wall, so it wasn't sitting on something helpful. The fridge was a very small one, and located on the floor (so you really had to bend over to get to that height) and the microwave was positioned precariously on top of it (microwave was bigger than the fridge) so also very low. If you tried to use the microwave it would lurch to one side and almost fall off. Nothing to hold it there. When you go into a room and don't have much in the way of flat surfaces to put anything on----keys, food and drink, stuff......----it makes it hard. I walked past many other rooms the next morning that were being cleaned, and all of them had desks and chests and actual furniture! Our room was naked, like someone had stolen it all. No chairs, either. Maybe one wooden one by the table? Other than that, it was also located in a great spot, very peaceful and green, hardly outside town. The river ran behind the hotel, and that was nice. Good place, but we happened to get the one naked room! I wished I'd taken a picture, but I forgot.
