Paintbrush Inn Thermopolis

THE POSITIVES ▪︎The owners were incredibly nice. They promptly and graciously did anything we asked of them. They went over and beyond in their efforts to please and accommodate us. ▪︎The kitchenette unit we stayed in had a full size fridge and small sink. Along with 2 smart TV's mounted one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen/living room area. Along with a pull out couch. THE NEGATIVES ▪︎The unit we stayed in was quite run down and in serious need of remodeling and repair. ▪︎We rented the unit that had 2 queensize beds to accommodate our family of 4. Their was no room to put any of our stuff. They had 1 luggage rack inside a small closet with hangers. Their were no drawers or shelving avaliable to set out some personal items. ▪︎We were appalled at the lack of cleanliness. I don't think our unit was even vacuumed or swept from the previous people who occupid our room. I clean houses for a living. And this unit was badly in need of a deep cleaning. The table was grimy. The window seals were dusty. The baseboards were disgusting. ▪︎The bathroom was tiny. My tall husband had to sit on the toilet at an agle in order to avoid his knees pressing against the wall in front of him. We were definitely not impressed and would not choose to stay here again. At some point in time you need to either decide to tear it down or remodel it. Even one star hotels ought to meet a certain standard of cleanliness and service. Your guest should not be expected to call in for a roll of toilet paper, empty their trash cans or get fresh towels to take a shower the next morning.

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, comfy room and pleasant amenities. Very clean room with comfortable bed in a quiet area but still close to shops. So many fun things to see in Thermopolis. This inn is very affordable and the folks go above and beyond to ensure your enjoyable stay. I will stay there again the next time I visit Thermopolis.

We stayed here from our way from Denver to Yellowstone NP and can recommend this place a lot. Kristen and Mike are awesome people. We got recommended to visit the rodeo show, that was in town the night. It was awesome. Also Kristen/Mike gave us free bathing towels to be used the hot springs bath house, which we could unfortunately not use because of too little time. Thanks a lot Kristen/Mike, Kristijan and Marko
