Simply perfect, clean hotel, well taken care of, great room. A breakfast with varieties, extremely caring and polite staff. I liked the area too, close to many things, supermarket 24hr right nearby, several bars and restaurants in the area.

Hotel Alvear exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent! It is close to Old Town, close to bars and restaurants. Facal, the oldest bar in Montevideo, is on the corner of the street. Breakfast is complete, with juices, various breads, croissant, yogurts, fruits, milk candy. Very clean and comfortable rooms, very prepared hotel staff and always willing to help. Returning to Montevideo, we will stay again at Alvear.

Great option in Montevideo. Central location, with good restaurants and markets, easy access. Careful service, delicious breakfast and comfortable room. Highly recommended!
