Balmoral Plaza

Hotel say it has a four star but i say no it hasnt. This hotel has those four stars maybe 20-30 years ago. So dont expect too mutch when you make a reservation. Hotel has a great location, middle of the city centre. The single room where i stay has seen a better days long time ago if we think it has a four star. Room has one small light only and bedsheet has broken. AC has make a steam and roof was ugly. Shower was a new long time ago but hot water still running well. Anyway, room was clean and cleaning ladys are very nice and professionals, they clean my room every day. That same i cant say for any reseptionist here. They dont even look or say anything to you when you walking inside the hotel. Unprofessional workers. There are no portier. Anyone can come in this hotel and go upstairs, because nobody cares. Hotelroom has a good securitybox! Breakfast was ok but i expect more hygienice and better food in this level hotel. Staf in the breakfastrooms was friendly. If you get a room good price this is a good option.

I booked through booking.com and received a confirmation. When I arrived, a completely disinterested guy on reception just said he had no room for me. He had no interest whatsoever in explaining why or in helping me. The hotel is supposed to be 4* but I suspect that was many decades ago. I don’t know what the rooms are like but the public areas are dark and dirty- stay away!!

The place is very nice, the staff really kind. I think there is some room for improvement in the cleanliness: the bathroom's walls were either a bit dirty or there were some fungi because the bathroom stayed wet
