Crystal Cove Beach Resort

The villas at Crystal cove were clean, spacious, and well decorated. I appreciated the snorkeling gear, floaters, and bug spray available. Right on the beach and next door to sapphire where there are multiple bar and restaurant options. The pool was not great.

Our first time traveling to St Thomas. We stayed at Crystal Cove condo D27. The condo was spectacular. Had everything you needed from kitchen items to beach and snorkeling items. Never had a problem with the AC or power outage. Cindy the host was great. Responded to all my messages in a timely manner. Norma the property manager was awesome. The landscaping was beautiful. The beach was clean. When there was sargassum the staff was quick to clean it up. I would definitely stay there again.

We arrived on island 11/8 and stayed at Sapphire Beach West. We originally had booked a different condo but due to construction we were moved to the one which I am reviewing. Upon arrival to unit D13 it was FILTHY! When I say filthy I mean disgusting. This filth included blood left on a toilet, coffee spills, food dried all over the place, no curtain or blinds and more (I wish I could include them but they were taken by another person on a different phone). We immediately contacted the property manager Lisa. It took a very long time for her to return calls, texts and emails with the "excuse" that she never received anything. These emails included detailed information with pictures and details. After MANY hours and lots of back and forth we ended up having to wash the linens and hope for the best. There were absolutely no cleaning products in the unit just a broom and dust pan. We had brought our own laundry detergent so we used that. The property manager did set up a cleaning crew for the next morning at 6am but they didn't show up until after 7 and it took them 6hrs to clean a one bedroom 2 bath unit. During this time we were stuck outside between the beach bar and in torrential rain. After this debacle we ended up with a one night refund which was nice of her but we were still left with nothing but a sponge to clean up after ourselves with. After this our AC broke due to all the rain the island had (which is obviously not the property mangers fault), our toilets would not flush or fill so we had to the tanks ourselves and then the door to the Murphy bed broke off a hinge. All in all this was just a nightmare condo and I would not suggest renting it which is unfortunate because it is a great location.
