Point Pleasant Resort

WALK to - live music, Coki Beach, CoralWorld, Jetski, Snorkeling, Paddleboard, kayak…..IF want a genuine Caribbean vacation without the crowds this is the best spot ! 8$ cab rides to the ferry, sunset cruses etc. the Connor Family and other Taxi drivers are waiting On Site for you.

We stayed at 9 Island Vista - Villa D36 in Point Pleasant Resort and the view was spectacular! Condo was very nice and clean but definitely up a steep curving road (as most are there). We were out most of the day soaking in beautiful beaches and local things to do. Had 2 bedrooms with 1 king bed and other queen. Each bedroom had on bathroom. Living area and small kitchen. The deck was setup with outdoor furniture and unbelievable view. Had to drive most everywhere but it was ok with a rental car. Great beach bar/restaurant on water. Did have towels and even beach towels for use. Many beach items snorkeling gear, kids sand items, chairs, etc. AC was a little wonky and glass sliding doors bit of issue but overall great place!

Point Pleasant Resort - Unit B2 This was our second stay at Point Pleasant resort, and we definitely noticed a decline from our visit 4 years ago. First I will say that each unit is individually owned and managed, units vary widely so read the reviews carefully before booking.The Good:The view from the balcony is gorgeous! You can sit and watch the sea turtles swimming in the water below. The Bad:The mid-level units have no privacy, especially on the balcony. People walking by on their way to the small beach can see directly into the unit. Be prepared for people walking by, looking in and even chatting with you while you are on the balcony--be sure to close the curtains at night.The Ugly: I am generally not too picky while on vacation and don't expect things to be perfect and I understand that bugs live in tropical environments. While unpacking the first night I noticed two cockroaches in the bathroom vanity. I killed and flushed them and didn't make a big deal about it. The next day we found two in the silverware drawers! Gross! An exterminator came during our stay, we continued to see a few more in the kitchen and bath. I would highly recommend washing all silverware/dishes before every use!The unit appears clean on the surface, but could use a deep cleaning. The bedding needs washing or replacing, the duvet cover did not stay on revealing a badly stained comforter with a faint urine smell. Overall I would not recommend this unit.
