Bluebeards Beach Club

My husband and I stayed here for a week in June and really enjoyed our stay. The resort was a great home base for exploring St. Thomas, St. John, and Water Island. We loved having coffee on our patio in the mornings and snorkeling from the beach. The grounds were beautiful, the resort felt safe, and the front desk staff was very friendly. Our room was renovated and comfortable, although we did have a few maintenance issues. The shower dispensers had fallen off the wall and couldn’t be repaired during our stay, and we could hear a lot of footsteps from the unit above us. My biggest disappointment was the concierge service. Once we declined the timeshare presentation, we were basically told to book our own excursions online. We also received a recommendation for transportation that was much more expensive than simply arranging taxis through the front desk. Those issues were frustrating, but they didn’t ruin the trip. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would stay here again. Next time I would request a higher-floor room. PS. You can definitely get around St Thomas using a taxi if you don't want to drive. just be sure to bring cash and give a 15 minute leeway for pickups.

What a hidden treasure! We could not have found a better place to stay! This place is peaceful, with interesting snorkeling, a quiet beach, and a delicious restaurant with an amazing view (shout out Longboard)! It is the perfect home base for your island adventures, but you might not want to leave. We visited various other beaches at hotels, and none compared to the quiet luxury of Limetree. The staff is friendly and have many stories to tell! A small menagerie of birds and cats walk the grounds. Our 1-bedroom was clean, well-apportioned with amenities, and comfortable.

This is a beautiful quiet resort. Our room has a small kitchen, and a lovely view. The Longboard restaurant on site has been excellent. We’ve enjoyed every breakfast, happy hour and dinner. The staff has been fantastic.
