Lidotel Centro Lido Caracas

I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days with my husband and daughter. While the hotel is not very large, it is exceptionally clean, simple, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. What I loved most was the bathroom. Although there was no bathtub, it was spacious, modern, and beautifully renovated. Before staying here, we stayed at a residential house in downtown Caracas where we struggled with poor water quality, but the water here was excellent. The provided amenities were also high quality. The room itself was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We spent most of our time inside the room without going out much, and it was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. My daughter used the gym during our stay and found the facility to be great as well. We really appreciated the welcome fruit basket alongside the complimentary snacks and fridge drinks. The breakfast spread wasn't overly extensive, but it offered a clean, light, and comfortable morning meal. Having breakfast on the top floor in a quiet, serene setting was lovely. The staff provided attentive yet soft, non-intrusive service, making us feel completely at ease. To me, the most essential factors of a hotel stay are cleanliness, comfortable bedding, and good breakfast service—and this hotel delivered on all three for our entire family. Lastly, due to a late-night flight schedule, we had to check out late and wouldn't be able to have breakfast the next morning. The hotel thoughtfully prepared sandwiches for us to take to the airport, which was such a kind and moving gesture. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable and clean place to stay.

As regular customers of Lidotel, we express our deep dissatisfaction with the treatment received during this contingency in Caracas. We requested in advance to extend our stay, and the hotel's instruction was to wait during the day. At no time were we required to make a payment — which we would have done immediately — but they called us at the last minute to demand eviction because the room was assigned to third parties who did pay at the time. It is unfortunate that they preferred to secure the transaction with others rather than give us the opportunity to cancel as regular guests, leaving us without a guarantee of accommodation at such a critical moment. Additionally, the room did not have an executive refrigerator, and we had to leave in custody a vital medication for diabetes that required refrigeration. Due to inadequate handling in their facilities, the treatment was stored in a freezer and delivered frozen, which completely damaged an essential medical supply of high economic value. This total lack of criteria, empathy, and care for the health of a recurring guest leaves much to be desired regarding the current standards of the chain.
