Pandanus Resort

Resort very beautiful. The food was good . The staff friendly ,Quoc Smile and helpful very kind

Mr Thien works very good and fast, very satisfied

I spent almost a week at the Pandanus Resort in Mui Ne, and overall there are many things I really enjoyed about my stay. One of the strongest points of the resort is definitely the gardens. They are absolutely beautiful and create a real feeling of peace and relaxation. The resort is very spacious, with plenty of greenery, ponds, trees and flowers everywhere. Even the small decorative water bowls placed around the property are carefully arranged with floating flowers and changed every day. The gardens are extremely well maintained, with lotus ponds, flowering frangipani trees and many lovely details throughout the resort. The beach is also very clean. You can clearly see that the staff spend a lot of time maintaining it, as I not saw any plastic or rubbish at all. The staff in general are very friendly, smiling and helpful, and the service attitude is excellent. However, one major disappointment was the service at the Blue Lagoon restaurant, which was extremely slow. I had lunch there twice. The first time, the waiting time was already very long. The second time, I ordered at around 1:30 pm, and there were only about four guests in the restaurant at the time. I ordered a Vietnamese beef salad and a chocolate lava cake. I was told that the lava cake would take around 25 minutes. After 45 minutes, I asked about it, and after one full hour I still had not received it. At that point I simply cancelled the order. I honestly do not know how much longer it would have taken. Considering that the restaurant was almost empty at the time, such a waiting time was even more difficult to understand. The restaurant team were very kind and apologetic, so this is not a criticism of their attitude, but such waiting times are simply not acceptable, especially for a relatively simple lunch order. This part of the experience was very disappointing. Breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent. There is a very good selection and I really enjoyed it. Regarding the activities, I joined the morning walking tour, which was very pleasant, and I also attended the yoga class several times. The yoga classes were very good and I really enjoyed them. The outdoor location is lovely, but during very hot periods it can become extremely warm, even when trying to stay in the shade. I stayed at the end of September / beginning of October and the heat was already quite intense. It could perhaps be worth offering an additional afternoon yoga class in an air-conditioned room for guests who are not available in the morning. Another option could be to have a more covered outdoor area with good ventilation or fans. Practising outside is very pleasant, but at certain times of the year the temperature can make it quite uncomfortable. I also tried the cooking class, which was enjoyable overall. However, I felt that too much of the preparation had already been done in advance. It would be more interesting if guests could spend more time preparing and cutting the ingredients themselves before cooking. The recipe material provided during and after the class could also be improved. It currently looks quite basic, almost like an Excel-style document. Considering the quality and positioning of the resort, it would be much nicer to receive a well-designed recipe booklet or PDF with photos, clear instructions and a more professional presentation. Overall, Pandanus is a beautiful, spacious and very relaxing resort with exceptional gardens, a clean beach, friendly staff and a very good breakfast. I am still giving the hotel five stars because my rating reflects the resort itself, the reception, the grounds, the staff and the overall stay. I would, however, separate the Blue Lagoon restaurant from this rating, as I believe it should really be reviewed on its own. Unfortunately, my lunch experience there was very disappointing and would deserve a significantly lower rating than the hotel itself.
