Veranda Beach Resort

June has built a quiet resort amid beautiful gardens with access to the beach and two pools. We had planned to visit local attractions but decided we didn't need to and just chilled out for the three days we were there. It is quite remote, which is a plus as it provides all we needed - nice restaurant, large villas with comfortable beds and furnishing and space to relax. We also treated ourselves to a massage, manicure and a yoga session which were reasonably priced. The staff were all lovely as well.

A little bit far away but we enjoyed the silence and the relaxing time at that quiet and cozy resort. Directly at the beach the only disadvantage is the road crossing to get to the restaurant for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff and great for a relaxed time.

Reasonable food at good prices. We had a selection of dishes across the menu range. The best dish is the coconut-steamed shrimps and squid in ginger. Seafood fried rice okay. Chicken was on the bone, as is usual, but the quantity of meat rendered was quite paltry (!!). Cocktails were cheap, but not to be recommended as the quality of the spirits is questionable.
