Faifo

We arrived in Da nang mid morning waiting for the 2245hr train to Na trang.My friends and i decided to book a hotel for the day to store luggage,shower and restup before the trip and as tne faifo hotel is next door it was very convenient.Wow! In my entire life i have never experienced such a worn down hotel.The moment you walk up the stairs you notice peeling walls ,poor light,filthy worn carpet, The moment we opened the door to our apartment we were met with a rancid musty smell ,again paint peeled off the walls no one was game to lay on the beds ,or shower for that matter,the carpet was old worn and was probaly laid 50yrs ago,only the bathroom lights worked .2rooms up were 2 open rooms which had been vandalised and furniture broken. The staff seemed nice enough It gives me no pleasure to write this review as you can imagine what this hotel was like in its heyday but decades of neglect have brought this once fine hotel to its knees. It cost 300dong to rent the room but it was invaluable to store our luggage as it was not availible at da nang railway and it was a nice surprise to find it hadnt been tampered with on our return.

Old and run down, rooms stank and bathroom light didn't work. Holes everywhere and everything is falling apart. However for somewhere to crash for a few hours at 3am after a train journey it is ok as the bed was at least clean. We opted not to shower as felt we'd come out dirtier than we went in! Location is fantastic but that is all.

We stayed in here for a few hours because of our train delay. It's very near the train station. The service was alright. However, the whole hotel felt old and tired and in need of some renovation. The rooms were big but it was musty smelling and not so clean. However it is a budget hotel that serves its purpose.
