Gia Linh Hotel

Hotel had, spacious, modern, clean rooms and bathrooms which is nicely like 2 mins from the beach front. Got.a nice view on the 7th floor. Only thing was the reception staff didn't speak much English but that can't be taken away from the rating. Overall nice hotel.

Firstly some positives: the hotel is rather new and cheap. But: stuff isn't really friendly: they don't speak English, and they don't try it at all. Room service enter your room well knowing you're in! Without knocking! Reception calling you late in the night asking you what time you leave the hotel next day (and don't give up if you just don't know !). Horrible artificial smell inside the room. And fare away from everything. Additional You will surrounded by construction sites that gives you a wake up call at six. This is good because the hotels restaurant stops serving breakfast at 08.30! I added a picture of a "beautiful" see-view you get for your money.

First of all, if you're planning on staying in Da Nang you really have to choose: do you want to stay near the beach? or do you want to stay near shops and restaurants? Because you can't have both. Personally, if I did it again I wouldn't choose the beach. Upon first arrival we weren't made to feel very welcome but the hotel seemed quite nice. The room looked good, the bathroom was nice enough and there was a lovely view out the window. However, the room had absolutely no sound proofing and we were woken at 1am by noisy guests outside our room (and then again the following night). I also found the bed to be very uncomfortable making this my worst two nights sleep the entire holiday. Breakfast is only served from 6:30 - 8:30am (so no sleep in for us) and arriving to eat at 8 we found a lot of the food looked dry and unappetising. But we ate anyway and went back to bed, only to have the cleaning staff knocking on our door half an hour later wanting to clean the room. The beach is close by but either too hot (there's no shade close to the water) or in the evening way too busy to enjoy.
