Silver Sea Hotel

I did not have a good time here. We booked an apartment at the top of the hotel for just half a day but it was not as good as we expected. Room was large but facilities was very old. Beds were not as comfortable as other hotels we stayed. There was no hair dryer in the room, I had to call the receptionist to get it. Equipment in the bathroom was not working well. With this price, you can have many choices in Da Nang. There are a lot of 3-star hotels which are totally brand new and offer better service.

My travel companion and I booked a room at Silver Sea Hotel very last minute (same day), and the staff were nice and accommodating. We rented a double room for about $25 dollars a night, and you may even be able to get a cheaper price by booking further in advance. Our room was clean and tidy. The highlight of this hotel is the proximity to the beach - less than a 5 minute walk away! Also, a mediocre breakfast was included. Rooms do require the keycard to be in the room for electricity, so you cannot leave your electronics charging while you leave for the day. Despite the fact that we were two people, we were only allowed one keycard. Note that it is customary for guests to leave their card at the front desk when going out for the day. Some staff members speak well in English, and others have limited English proficiency. Yet, everyone is very nice and tries to be as helpful and sweet as possible. We stayed in two different rooms, and wifi in the first room was great, but in the second room we had to leave the door open to get a signal. I recommend this hotel if you are interested in being close to the beach and not spending to much money.

We have nice stay here, the staffs very friendly, especially the bellman in the night time. The breakfast was variety of dishes. We had a problem that we booked double bedded, but they gave us twin one.
