Starlet Hotel

friendly and smart front desk staff in a clean well situated one block off beach. restaurants nearby, even busy burger place.really nice sized clean rooms. no pool unfortunately. good place near to expensive hotels and beach

My friend and I stayed there for 3 days 4 nights, the staffs are very hospitable and helpful. Nice cleaning room. I stayed in no smoking room with two big beds. Every time we arrived from the trip, the receptionist handles us the breakfast cards. And even when we arrived late, they came to our room and gave us the cards to make sure that we could enjoy the next day breakfast. There is only one small problem with me is the blanket. I don’t like the texture of it.

My father and I stayed one night here and had zero problems! The location is excellent. Very cheap taxi ride to the hotel, so don`t ask for a hotel pickup. We had a 2 twin beds and the room was actually quite huge. It was also the best shower I used in 2 weeks and 7 different hotels of Vietnam! We had the breakfast buffet on the top floor. Excellent view and the food was quite nice. They made to order any egg dish. But the best thing about the hotel is the location and price. Very good price with the location. Literally less than block away from the beach and numerous beachfront restaurants. Also Tam`s Pub and Surf Shop is about 3 blocks behind the hotel which is a huge bonus in itself! Some people complained about the hotel taking your passport and not giving it back. It`s communist country. I heard that they take the passport so the government can track where foreigners are. It didn`t bother me much anyway. I think 5 out the 7 hotels we stayed with kept all or at least one of the passports. Obviously we got them all back when we checked out. It`s up to you how stressful you want to be about it. All in all, it`s a very good hotel to stay at in De Nang.
