Cua Dai Beach Hotel

This place is freaking scary, just don't go here - I'm dead serious. There's no one who speaks English in the staff, actually there's no staff at all except one creepy old man who's hanging out in the lobby in his boxers smoking cigarettes. There are no other guests either (which is 100% understandable) and the entire place feels abandoned. Walking the hallways gave me massive flashbacks from when I destroyed my childhood from watching The Shining as an eight year old. It was dark, battered and really sketchy. At one point it sounded like someone tried to punch their way out of one of the rooms, that was extra weird since I'm sure we were the only people there except the old man and he was with us at the time. So, fast forward to when we came in to our room. Spoiler alert, It was disgusting. This is the kind of hotel room where you wake up on the bathroom floor missing a kidney. There was human hair on the pillows and the sheets was filled with spots of mold, I'm not kidding the sheets were actually moldy! There was no real shower, just a showerhead between the toilet and the sink. Speaking of the sink, it was everything but clean. We decided pretty quickly that we didn't wanna stay one more minute in this very sorry excuse for a hotel so 10 minutes after check in we checked out. The old man in underwear didn't even look surprised by this. After this we had to walk until a taxi miraculously showed up on the road. Oh, almost forgot! Before even getting there we spent about 45 minutes just trying to find the place since the address we were given took us to a field whith exactly zero buildings. Feel free to laugh at our misfortune while reading this review but once again, DON'T stay at this hotel.
