Thanh Binh 2 Hotel

a very convenient hotel in a quiet area. close to the Old Town and with many very good restaurants nearby from local eatery to quite smart . the staff at this hotel were very helpful. the manager Tam was most especially kind and helpful when my travel companion broke her arm and needed surgery. Tam has perfect english so it was a great help in an emergency. our room was comfortable with a very good hot shower. soft pillows and a softer than average asian bed.

We already booked 1 month in advance for 4 rooms and already partly paid for reservation. However, when we arrived, the hotel said that they did not record our booking and tried to put us (12 people with kids and elder) into only 2 rooms with a strange additional bed that should not be a part of that room. Basically we belived they tried to put us into 2 rooms only so that they could rent other rooms for higher price! Eventually we did not receive any kind of apologies, and the owner (the one who made this mistake) blamed it on her employees and did not take responsibility!

Thanh binh 2 is a must stay if you’re in hoi an, the staff especially tam the manager has a heart of gold and is extremely helpful with any problems or if you’re wanting to book seperate activities, all the staff made it feel like home. The hotel is very clean and has a great design with very comfortable beds! I will be back here 100% when I’m next in hoi an!
