Thanh Noi Hotel

As already noted, except its good location (for visiting the imperial palace), this hotel has nothing for itself. It is litterally abandoned by its owner. That also reflects in the behavior of the staff : indifferent at its best, it can easily flirt with insulting (eg, waitresses playing cards next to you 10 minutes before taking your order, confirming a booking for bikes although it is not done at all, etc). It is particularly shocking in Vietnam as staff is usually kind and efficient. Not here. Lastly, this hotel is dirty. Whatever you imagine in an hotel, picture it dirty before you come. Good luck to future clients. Others will be going for the opposite side of the river, where is most life and local youth.

What a pity ! It used to be a great place but I guess the new owners are no professionals/ o Great location, gardens and pool BUT welcome: zero ; rooms : so-so and grounds littered with papers, empty recipients etc. STAY AWAY !;

When we arrived our first impression of the hotel and especially the pool was gloomy. We got our room, and the cleaning wasnt great, but they fixed it while we were out eating after we asked. Because it is inside the old part of Hue it is not close to anything but the citadel, so it is suitable if you like walking. We didnt mind. We used the hotels laundry cleaning service, and it was really quick and our clothes came back clean and nice. Very impressed and pleased! The breakfast buffet was empty 1 hour after opening with veeeery slow refill. Or maybe we werent supposed to eat the buffet. The breakfast was confusing. We did get food, and it was okay.
