Dong Thanh Hotel

This is the worst stay I ever had! Hotel took my money before check in , receptions named hai told me the room is quite. But not comfortable because it’s in the last floor and no elevator. We got the room, very dirty, air conditioner work only with a switch, can’t control temperature. Toilet was very dirty, as well the bathroom. The highlight was the worst thing ever happen to me in Vietnam. 7AM in the morning, construction start to make so much noise I wasn’t able even to ear my self. We checked in only at 00:00, and 7 Am we already want to leave because we can’t stay in this horrible room anymore. We asked our money back beacuse we stayed in this room only 7 hours, and they didn’t say nothing about this noise. When asked in the phone he said quite. Don’t go there ! They are lire’s, they took money from advanced beacuse they knew we will not want to pay for this horrible night. Of course they don’t want to refund and fight with us. Don’t go there ! Horrible!

We booked this hotel for 6 nights and paid unfortunately in full with Agoda, big mistake if we would have booked for one night it would have been the only night we would have stayed there, basically you are in the middle of a building site noise from hammering and sanding until 3 am we moved rooms but just as bad, waken by reception one night at 4am and accused of having a 3rd person in our room, no water one morning, a big let down and would not stay there again.

The only issue I had was the water pressure but I was on the 8th floor and when there's lots of others having showers at around the same time, the water goes down to a trickle and sometimes not a drop. Otherwise I liked my room, very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was more than satisfactory and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
