This is the first time I am giving a hotel a bad review, but something happened here that I would like to share. This hotel offers several room categories; the highest is the Junior Suite, followed by the Suite. I booked and paid for a Junior Suite for 9 days. Upon check-in, I was greeted warmly and was given a room without any further explanation. However, when I got to the room, I had to realize that instead of the booked room category, I only received a standard Suite. The Suite is about 15 square meters smaller and 8 to 9 € cheaper per day than the Junior Suite. I then complained first to the hotel and then to the booking platform where I had booked the room. We reached an agreement; I kept the Suite and received a refund for one night. The room itself was clean, but the public areas are partially not clean. The staff is friendly and remained polite despite my complaint. The security is really limited since the reception is often not staffed. In the photos I am posting, it can also be seen that there are guests' luggage in the lobby, but no one is there to keep an eye on it. The breakfast tastes very good and is definitely more than sufficient. I would definitely not return to this hotel because I was annoyed that they tried to give me a lower room category without any explanation. I suspect it was hoped that I would not notice that. In my personal opinion, this is definitely not honest behavior towards a guest.
