Rising Dragon Estate

I stayed in this hotel a few days, close to everything , the train street is just a few feet from the hotel, my rom was in last floor very big, the bed was very comfortable, the gentlemen in the lobby is very helpful and professional and give ideas of the places to eat local food which is good for new people in the city, the room was big although was able to hear the noise of the train did not bother.

They wrote to tell us that we were being moved from one room 500m from the hotel because our room was still occupied. The room we were changed to was terrible, with no window, a horrible bed and no door in the bathroom. All without any compensation.

I don't know which room these photos are from, but it's not one of the 4 rooms I stayed in or any of my fellow Intrepid Tour travel mates stayed in. The hallway carpets are filthy, the bathrooms barely function, the rooms look out over piles of back alley garbage, the air con units are elderly, leak and likely spew mold, my rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and the cleaning standard is minimal. The artwork has a thick layer of greasy dust in it. Several times I got off the elevator to find young men hanging out in the hallway (they ran away when they saw me) and dirty dishes piled on the stairs. The front desk is nice, the cab fare posted to the airport is fair and laundry service is available at a reasonable rate. The hotel has a good location but there are better hotels for similar prices nearby. It's a no from me.
