Little Hanoi 2

Really lovely and friendly staff. Keen to talk and advise. Had a Christmas eve party for us. Breakfast included - we had scrambled eggs and tea. Tea and coffee available for free during the day. Booked airport taxi for us. Really nice big rooms :)

This is a tiny little guesthouse just off the lake. A 5 min walk into the madness of the old quarter and you'll get to know this can be a good thing. Mr Chin could not be more helpful .... Sapa trip bookings, bus/train foreword travel, etc. The rooms are typical Hanoi skinny and small. We had 2 rooms on the 6th floor (a bit of a hike with no lift) with 3 kids in the bunkroom and us opposite. Breakfast is great ... Plentiful. Tea/coffee all day, Internet/wifi, and fresh fruit. Highly recommend.

I stayed at Little Hanoi with two friends for 3 nights. I think we originally booked at Little Hanoi 1, but since the flight was long enough we decided to stay here which was arranged quickly and without any extra fees. The hotel itself was pretty nice. The staff was very friendly, inviting us to dine with them several times. This was on top of the free breakfast, tea/coffee, fresh fruit and other times we ate there. They also arranged our tour to Hai Long bay from here and on return to Ha Noi we could borrow a room to freshen up without any charge. They also arranged both the train ticket and cab for us so we could continue our travels; A great time saver. For Vietnam standards the room we stayed in was one of the best. Nothing too special, but fully air-conditioned, working refrigerator and warm running water.
